The Marine Operations Manager is responsible for marine personnel, operational oversight and quality assurance of the vessels in their respective region. This position is accountable for ensuring that the vessels are fully crewed at all times with qualified mariners, requires extensive interaction with other regional personnel, oversees the QA and QC programs for their vessels and participates in regular staff calls and regional management meetings. In order to achieve these goals, the Marine Operations Manager maintains awareness of situations that affect MSRC's ability to respond quickly as necessary or appropriate; is familiar with the geographic areas of the region and maintains a positive state of readiness by being available to respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year anywhere.

Must have effective problem solving, communications and basic computer skills. A USCG 500 Ton Master's license and previous shoreside management experience are preferred.
