This skimmer utilizes a weir design to recover oil from the water's surface. It is capable of handling many types of oil from light diesel fuel to heavy crude oil including situations with heavy debris. It can also be outfitted with a Lamor brush adapter to minimize water content and increase efficiency with higher viscosities of oil. The skimmer is typically deployed in open, near coastal or near-shore waters.
